A launch date is locked-in, terminal count has begun, and all systems are GO!
We are very excited to announce that pre-orders for our educational CubeSat kit will go live in 7 days, on November 8th 2022. With this in mind, we want to provide you with some information on what to expect, to set expectations going forward as we prepare to launch pre-orders.
Please note: RAS.CubeSat has been renamed to RASCube
These pre-orders will be the first orders of a brand new product, as such, we need to make sure everything goes smoothly and our first customers are over the moon. To manage this, pre-orders will be limited to a total of 75x units. Once pre-orders are sold out, that's it, sales halt for a long time. These 75x units will ship in March 2023, marking the beginning of our three-month Pilot Program.
Customers who pre-order RASCube will be involved in our Pilot Program, where we will work closely with customers, supporting them along the way and collecting valuable real-world feedback. Feedback from these first customers will be used to optimise learning/teaching resources and make minor adjustments to RASCube, with the satellite kit expected to be entirely released mid 2023 (with no limit on sales).
All pre-orders will be sold at a discounted price, with further discounts offered for buying more units. Additionally, all customers involved with RASCube's Pilot Program will receive VIP discounts on all products and services in the future, as a thank you for their support and feedback during these early days of Robinson Aerospace Systems.
